This title replaces the “subdivisions” title and emphasizes subdivision by using permaculture zones 1-5. These again, are easy to modify and are influenced by all of the above factors. Zones of use are determined by:
- How often that element is visited (how often it needs you & how often you need it)
- How much maintenance is required (intensive care totally left to nature)
- Access to water supply//energy sources (most to least)
- Amount of land required (smallest to largest)
- Compatibility with other elements
